Bob gets his inquisitive mind from his father who worked on sensitive projects within a variety of industries. His father, Clare Richard Caldwell, was a computer professor at San Jose State University and De Anza College in the 1960’s. He received his Masters from Santa Clara University and was a pioneer in his time. Bob is a visionary inventor with a focus on solving large problems. Using his background in mechanics, theories from computerize hydraulics, mechanical devices, and then he moved into electromagnetics and developed a patented Carbon Capture Technology. He saw too much Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere and realized that it is humanity's biggest problem. He set out to capture Carbon Dioxide at its source before it enters the atmosphere. By creating Carbon Capture Technology and forming Caldwell Innovation, it is his mission to make the world a better place.
While in College at the University of Minnesota, Michael was a menswear’s buyer for a high end department chain of stores for more than two years After graduating and in receiving his BA Business Administration, life got interesting... Having to adapt to changes in economy, trends, employment, and opportunities, Michael developed the skills and network to build his legacy in the apparel industry. A quarter of a century of Michaels career was spent working with major brands and major stores across the country. He contributed as a member of the board of directors for 8 years, 2 years as President, and 2 years as CEO of the Golden Gate Apparel Association. Michaels strong background in management, marketing, and sales allowed him the opportunity to use his expertise to develop licensed products with 40 Major Colleges. Before settling down and becoming a father of four and later being blessed with 5 grandchildren, he served his country in the Vietnam War as a decorated Paratrooper. Michael joined Caldwell Innovations in 2023 and is the current CEO. Life has been a challenging, rewarding, and educating experience. Michael welcomes and is looking for more personal growth and ways to make the world a better place for generations to come.
Ellen is one of nine children and from an early age she was relied upon to help govern those around her. Her quiet intellectual nature led her to be instrumental in developing relationships both professional and personal. Guided by her 100 year old World War II Veteran father and his devout spiritual beliefs, Ellen became the driving force she is today. She has volunteered her time and home for several decades in areas from foster care, animal rights, and homelessness. Ellen was introduced to Caldwell Innovations early in its conceptualism in 2020 where she has been instrumental in obtaining the patent. Previous to Caldwell Innovations where she holds the title of Chief Operations Officer, she has thirty plus years working in fortune 500 public to
private companies in the medical and health care industries. She is recognized for her leadership, tenacity, and integrity. In her spare time she enjoys making memories with her incredible family and brewing the perfect IPA. She is seldom seen without a smile or kind word
offering help to those around her.
With over 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry and 17 years leading a solar energy company, Rich Patterson brings deep expertise and a lifelong passion for sustainable solutions. He began his career in construction at a young age, and by his early 20s, discovered a strong interest in HVAC. He pursued formal training to become a technician and steadily advanced through the ranks—from residential work to complex commercial and industrial systems, including data center cooling, industrial chillers, boilers, and advanced control systems. Rich’s career took a pivotal turn during his time at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where he developed a keen interest in green energy. This inspired him to launch his own solar company, where for the past 17 years he has been designing, engineering, and installing solar photovoltaic systems, HVAC systems, battery backup solutions, and energy management technologies. Rich has been an integral part of Caldwell Innovations since its inception, contributing hands-on industry knowledge and sharing in the vision of creating a more sustainable world.
